Away from the major hubs, The Range is a mid-sized suburb in Rockhampton Council with its own quieter rhythm. Families and commuters make up much of the community, with family life visible on every street. Families have many nearby school and early-learning options to choose from.
Fitness and outdoor sport options are a real part of local life, not just a distant club trip away. There is enough green space nearby for walks, picnics and after-school play. A car helps for most daily errands, though buses still link the suburb further afield.
Property sits in a premium price band and is harder to enter for many buyers. Older homes and historic streetscapes give the suburb a character that is hard to manufacture anew.
